Supply upgrade to Manufacturing facility in Plymouth
KES(SW)Ltd were successful in a tender to upgrade the supply and distribution systems for a manufacturing facility in Plymouth. The client was updating from gas to electrical cookers. This contract required us to coordinate the upgrade of the onsite supply transformer to 1MW with a 1250Amp ACB incomer, install ladder rack cable management over roof tops, complete 100mtrs of trenching, install multiple 600amp MCCB boards and pull in over 4 tonnes of single core XLPE cable. A complex metering sum was required due to multiple CT KWH meters and PV arrays. This installation was completed on time, to the satisfaction of the client and with no unexpected interruptions to production.
